Job Description

The Technical Product Owner (TPO) role is to support digital Marketing and the Global Storefronts. This role plays a pivotal role in leading the end-to-end technical delivery of a large-scale website migration initiative. This role bridges the gap between business needs and technical execution, ensuring a seamless transition of web content, infrastructure, and functionality from legacy platforms to modern, scalable solutions. The TPO collaborates with cross-functional teams including HCD, content strategy, infrastructure, quality engineering and development to deliver a high-quality digital experience aligned with business goals.

This is a highly visible role with Global reach.

Work arrangement: Hybrid (3 days from office, 2 days from Home) from any of the listed offices. Remote working option is not available.

Position Responsibilities

  • Facilitate discovery & delivery activities of the storefronts experience by interfacing with both business and technical teams, owning the functional decision making.
  • Own and manage the technical backlog for the website migration project, ensuring alignment with business priorities and timelines.
  • Lead agile teams through planning, execution, and delivery phases of the migration, ensuring value is delivered incrementally.
  • Define and communicate the migration strategy, including platform selection, data/content migration, SEO preservation, and performance optimization.
  • Partner with Marketing Technology Business Partner, Technology Program Manager, and digital teams to create and maintain a migration roadmap and vision.
  • Collaborate with architecture, data, security, and risk teams on the design and acceptance of a robust solution.
  • Coordinate with vendors and external partners involved in hosting, platforms, and development.
  • Ensure technical requirements are captured, documented, and translated into actionable user stories and epics alongside a Business Systems Analyst.
  • Collaborate with POs to monitor KPIs such as site performance, SEO rankings, user engagement, and accessibility compliance post-migration.
  • Collaborate with HCD designers to ensure the migrated site delivers an exceptional user experience.
  • Facilitate sprint ceremonies and ensure blockers are addressed to maintain momentum.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans for migration-related challenges (e.g., broken links, redirects, downtime).
  • Ensure quality assurance and testing processes are in place for migrated content, functionality, and integrations including accessibility and privacy compliance.
  • Stay informed on emerging web technologies and trends to inform platform decisions and future enhancements.
  • Growth mindset for AI and how to apply it to the project.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of web technologies, CMS platforms (e.g., Adobe Experience Manager, Salesforce), and hosting environments.
  • Experience managing large-scale website migrations or re-platforming initiatives.
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices, analytics tools, and performance monitoring.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities to manage complex dependencies and timelines.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive execution without direct authority.
  • Strong communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and compliance requirements.

Engineering experience preferred

  • Front-End Development Knowledge: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue).
  • Back-End Development Familiarity: RESTful APIs, Node.js, Java, or .NET for integration and troubleshooting.

  • Proven experience as a Product Owner, Technical Lead, or Program Manager in digital/web projects.
  • Agile certification (e.g., CSPO) preferred.
