MINIMUM 6 MONTHS OF RECENT SANITATION EXPERIENCE IN A FAST-PACED ENVIRONMENT
Connect Staffing is seeking an experienced Sanitation Worker to fill an opening at a baked goods manufacturing facility in Los Alamitos, CA.
Schedule : 2:00pm to 7:00pm, Monday – Sunday, 5–6 days per week. Start times may vary based on production and sanitation needs.
Requirements for Sanitation Worker:
• 6 months of recent sanitation experience in a fast-paced production or warehouse environment.
• Ability to communicate in Spanish is a must.
• Ability to safely lift up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to perform rapid physical work throughout the shift.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive motions for up to 5 hours per shift.
• Forklift, floor scrubber, and industrial washing tool experience is a plus.
• Prior experience in roles such as Sanitation Worker, Janitorial Technician, Industrial Cleaner, Warehouse Cleaner, Food Production Sanitation Associate, or General Laborer is a big plus!

Responsibilities of the Sanitation Worker:
• Clean and sanitize production equipment and production lines during product changeovers
• Perform general cleaning and housekeeping of production areas
• Complete detailed cleaning of idle equipment and surrounding areas
• Clean and sanitize floor drains and wastewater areas
• Perform exterior cleaning of the building as assigned
• Gather trash from multiple areas and dispose of waste in proper receptacles
• Organize and store cleaning tools and equipment, maintaining strong housekeeping standards
• Clean office areas, break rooms, and locker rooms
• Use floor scrubbers, washing tools, and other sanitation equipment as needed
