Medicaid and Private Pay Caregiver (In-Home Support)

About Lemn Care
Lemn Care is a Michigan Medicaid-approved home care provider offering dependable, compassionate in-home support that helps clients remain safe and independent at home. We are hiring caregivers for both Medicaid and private pay clients.

Caregivers are assigned clients as cases become available. If you already have a family member, relative, or friend who has Michigan Medicaid and needs home care services, they can contact Lemn Care to confirm eligibility and see if you may qualify to serve as their caregiver.

f a client is currently receiving services through another agency and is not satisfied, they may be able to transfer to Lemn Care . Our team can guide them through the eligibility and transfer process.

Responsibilities

Duties depend on the client’s authorized plan of care and may include but not limited to:

• Assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation
• Companionship and safety supervision
• Grocery shopping and errands
• Medication reminders (non-medical)
• Mobility support and fall prevention support
• Basic documentation of services provided and time tracking

Qualifications

• Caregiving experience preferred (Medicaid and/or private pay)
• Experience across the continuum of care or in multiple care settings , such as home care, assisted living, group homes, adult day programs, rehab, or post-hospital transition support (preferred)
• Reliable, professional, and compassionate communication
• Ability to follow a care plan and document services
• Dependable attendance and a service-first mindset
• Reliable transportation preferred (depending on assignment needs)

Preferred (Not Required)

• CPR/First Aid certification
• Experience with seniors and adults with disabilities
• Bilingual caregivers encouraged to apply

How Assignments Work

• We match caregivers to clients based on location, schedule availability, and skill fit
• Clients are assigned as new cases become available
• If you have a Medicaid-eligible family member or friend who needs care, we can help confirm eligibility and guide next steps

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18 – 22 per week
