Barback Job Description
Stocking Supplies : Responsible for restocking liquor, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and other necessary items before and during service hours. This includes changing kegs and refilling ice bins.
Cleaning and Maintenance : Maintain cleanliness in the bar area by washing glassware, cleaning spills, and ensuring that the bar is presentable at all times. This includes sweeping, mopping, and emptying trash receptacles.
Assisting Bartenders : Provide support to bartenders by prepping ingredients, retrieving supplies, and assisting in serving drinks during busy periods. They may also take orders and prepare drinks when necessary.
Customer Interaction : While primary role is supportive, may interact with customers, answering questions and ensuring a positive experience.
Inventory Management : Help with inventory checks and notify the bar manager when stock levels are low, ensuring that the bar is always well-stocked.
